USA Network has decided to cancel In Plain Sight, but will still go ahead with a shortened fifth season of the show to give its audience a sense of closure.
Season 4 of In Plain Sight, which follows a US Marshal working for the Witness Protection Program, aired its finale just this past Sunday. The show's fifth and final season of eight episodes will premiere sometime in the Spring of 2012.

I am very disappointed that IN PLAIN SITE is being cancelled but yet you keep shows like phyic is brought back I think that show is one of the worse shows next to burn notice that USA network has along with Monday night Raw. I think this cancellation should be re thought

I'm amazed USA has cancelled In Plain Sight. I hope this is to accommodate Mary McCormack's family needs and not USA's management characters.

Though most shows don't live forever this one is funny and doesn't rely on actors looking like models without any acting skills.
Since this show has an average of 13 eps per season I would have hoped they would keep it going. Lot of oldies getting canceled... too bad.

my wife and I LOVE this show. the caustic Mary and Mensa-minded Marshall play off each other perfectly. add in Stan the Straightman and you have a modern day Three Stooges, only without the slapstick. I was really hoping to see this show return for a couple more seasons, at least....but as all good things, it must come to an end. I'm relying on the writers to NOT disappoint us and somehow get Mary and Marshall together. Thanks "In Plain Sight" GREAT WORK, all of you!

Just another move to show that intelligent programing is frowned upon in this generation. If having to follow a plot and listen to witty reparte and bright conversation is required, the 18-35 age group TV is geared to, isn't interested. Too busy texting and playing video games. What a shame, this was a really good show. So disappointed in USA. Bad move!!!

Wow, what a disappointment. Mary & Marshall are way better than that dumb show Psych. what a joke that show is. I love alot of the shows on USA, but I agree with above, Law & Order all day sucks. please bring back In Plain Sight. a loyal usa network watcher.

wow! another great show biting the dust?? mary and marshall are fantastic. suprised USA cut this. i dont want to watch reruns of Law and Order all day and night.

I can't believe this show was cancelled. I loved the characters. I was starting to think USA had best shows on cable.
