Lifetime is bringing back its signature dramedy.

Lifetime announced today that Drop Dead Diva will be returning for a fourth season, with a pick-up of 13 new episodes.
"Drop Dead Diva is a signature series for Lifetime that continues to resonate with audiences with its heart and humor. We are thrilled to bring it back for another season," said network president Nancy Dubuc.
The series, which follows a young model who is reincarnated as an attorney, is nearing the end of its third season - which wraps up on September 25. Over the course of the season it has averaged 2.3 million total viewers and has the distinction of holding the number one spot among women 18-49 in its Sunday 9:00pm time slot for all shows on basic cable.
Look for Season 4 of Drop Dead Diva to premiere in mid-2012.

Absolutely love this show. Just watched the first three seasons on NETFLIX. Am so sad that it is not still running. Would have paid for that Network just to get that show.

I can`t believe Drop Dead Diva has been dropped. It was one of the best shows on television. It`s so disappointing to see a good one go off. What is happening to our programs? Looks like the fans should have a say. My faith in this network is no more.

I loved that show . all of my friends have a party watch the show every sunday I miss it so much please bring it back .

Rarely do they come up with a great new show but this time they did and now they want to cancel it. I felt they could add more detail to each episode.

I love this show. If it is cancelled i will block lifetime for the rest of my life. How about getting rid of Dance moms or stop running that frasier show from a milion years ago instead?

Absolutely can't believe drop diva would.b cancelled with all the crappy reality shows that should be flushed down the drain...this was an updated analysis mcbeal and a delight to look forward to...goes with the government something actually entertaining in a clean positive way can make.the cut...only the trash....bad NETWORK!!!!!

I can't believe this show was canceled! Jane Bingham is an inspiration to all women! How does stupidity like Honey Boo Boo get on the air and a masterpiece like Drop Dead Diva get canceled? the entertainment of our society is pathetic. Shame on the networks for not recognizing a genuine piece of class.
