ABC has pulled the freshman comedy from its schedule.
December 8, 2011
It looks as if Man Up's run is up on ABC, as the freshman sitcom has been pulled from the network's schedule before getting a chance to air all of its produced episodes. The struggling series was already in bad shape after being left off of ABC's midseason schedule, but today's news removes any doubt of it continuing.
With Man Up being pulled sooner than planned, repeats of Tim Allen's latest laugher Last Man Standing will air in its place for the rest of the year. New comedy Work It will air in the Tuesday 8:30pm time slot starting January 3.

Disappointment, this show is closer to real life, and relatable than most reality shows. Why the Hell would you pull it off air? It's funnier than Last Man Standing, which should have been called Home Improvement 2.0, or Tim Allen's Last Stand. Yet absolute garbage like The Bachelor, Extreme Makeover and The Middle (can anyone not remember Malcolm In The Middle? What a ripoff) thrive like weeds (plants, not the show). Shame on you ABC, especially replacing Man Up with a show about 2 guys getting dressed up as women to get work WTF????

I'm sad to see this go. I really enjoyed this show and I thought it went very well after Last Man Standing. It seems I always get hooked on the shows that get canceled!

I loved this show! Most of the things these guys can't do, I can't do either...sad.

Thats too bad it was very funny. Another reason I'd rather watch HBO, Showtime etc. Seems like with network tv you invest time in shows only to have them cancelled because they aren't instant success. But have one show make it then all the other networks are rushing to make clones of it. Network tv freaking depressing.

Hulu subscribers have access to the remaining shows of the season. Personally, this show was funnier than Happy Endings. but it had to compete with glee. and you don't get between women and their showtunes...i think. I never listen long enough to find out.

This is awful!! My 15 yr old son and his friends love this show!! It's the only time my son actually wants to hang out with his "lame" mom!! It may be only a 30 min show but it's the only 30 min a wk I get to hang out with my teenager. This was our only bonding moment. We laughed together! This sucks! It was a really great show!! I hope another network shows the rest of these episodes.

WTF. I love this show. Tv seems to be just piles of shows about storage unit operators or people wrestling alligators, either that or some vacuous reality show centered around nobodys. But Man Up! Man, I love this show, sure it ain't Seinfeld but heck, it's better than a lot of other sitcoms around.

Honestly, it wasn't funny, it had moments, but, hmph, not "hysterical". I only watched it because it is part of my ondemand lineup through my cable subscription

Seriously, that is just messed up. We need this rediculousness and laughter. This show is hysterical. I quote it all the time. "The pigs took their eggs...O' that's not right" It's so funny, hopefully someone has more sense than ABC or can pick a better spot for it. I think Comedy Central should adopt it and have funny shows instead of all the shows that used to be famous clinging on...SNL, seriously?
