The reality relationship series is still going strong.
May 10, 2012
ABC has renewed its looking-for-love reality series The Bachelor for Season 17. The news comes less than a week before the next season of spin-off The Bachelorette is set to premiere. Notably, the latter was not part of the network's list of renewals today.
The next Bachelor has not yet been announced, nor has a return date.
Other reality shows renewed by ABC today were Dancing With The Stars and Shark Tank.
UPDATE: ABC has announced that the next bachelor will be former Bachelorette suitor Sean Lowe, with the season premiering on January 7, 2013.

Good grief- time for this to be gone. Guess the sleazy reality crap brings in more money beccuase they are cheaper to produce. Keep this and cancels GCB and Missing which were at least entertaining. Had my day with watching mid-season replacement shows on ABC or much else they put out there for the viewing public.
