ABC has cancelled new drama GCB after one season on the air. The Texas-based series, which took a satirical look at life in Dallas, debuted as a mid-season replacement back in March and aired its season - and now series - finale on May 6, 2012.

WTF_ I guess ABC is on the Obama Plan, just do the opposite of what people want.... GCB was great and hopefully someone else picks it up.

That is sad. That show is so funny. It is one of the shows I was hoping would make it to next year taking the place of Desperate Housewives.

Really liked this show!!!!refreshing, good humor &great talent by the whole cast!!!! Cannot believe it is cancelled!!!!!! Sure hope another network picks it up, will certainly watch for it! So tired of the reality shows.....give me entertainment!!! G C B !!!!!!!!!!!

Perhaps if they waited to air this show during the the 9pm time slot once Desperate Housewives ended the show would have made it. I really looked forwarrd to watching GCB. The cast had great chemistry. The story line was hilarious! Hopefully, CW will pick it up.

Are you kidding ABC? This is the best new show on television! Try promoting so others can find it! I am sick and tired of good shows being cancelled for reality drivel to replace them. I guess I will fire up Netflix on Sunday nights.

They can keep Dancing with the Stars, The Bachelor/ette on the air but a funny show like GCB they cancel...what kind of crap is that?? I hope that someone picks this show up...I'm so glad it's baseball season...
