NBC will not be renewing the Kathy Bates legal drama.
May 11, 2012
NBC has cancelled Harry's Law after two seasons on the air. The modestly-rated legal drama has long been considered on-the-bubble for earning a renewal past two seasons.
The show will end after a total of 34 episodes over two seasons. Its now-series finale will air on May 20, 2012.

This is tyranny, pure & simple. Tyranny is cruel, harsh, and unfair. Tyranny can be a person or a small group of people who have power over everyone else. Tyranny is one who rules without law looks to own advantage uses cruel tactics against their own people as well as others. The opposite of tyranny is: mercy, understanding, tolerance, leniency, ease and democracy. Which would you rather be? Any why is CW exhibiting characteristics of the former?

I told everyone when the new season of Harry's Law started it would be the last. They changed too much from the inital concept of working out of the shoe store and brought in to many new people. Why not leave things alone. The writing was good, the concept was funny and the exec's screw up another good show! Thanks for nothing NBC!

Heroes, Ringer, Secret Circle and not to mention many other shows. Whats the point in watching this network if they continue to do this to viewers? Did these shows scare off the Christian Sunday church goers? I pay for Cable who doesn't now these days. I should be able to demand what the heck I want my eyes to see... This is not your choice, I am forced to bend my knees because you own the stupid CW.

NBC are you listening????? So far four pages of comments, everyone ready to hang your management and move on to other networks. Are you listening????? how many comments agreed with you. ZERO. If their is any petition going around please list it here in this comment section I want to sign it, Is their any way for this websight to send this information to the network?? If any show needed to be saved this is the one. Please lets start the fight to save it. Notice to all networks take a look at Harr'ys Law see that it is worth saving pick it up. It is and will continue to be a great show. The system networks use to judge its value needs to be updated they are so far out of the times it is time for a big change.

This is most disconcerting news. Harry's Law is a thoughtful well-written show. It is timely, funny, thoughtful and well acted by an emsemble cast reminiscent of other series by David Kelly. In a time of inane, ridiculous, often crude comedies, the writers did a phenomal job of mixing humor with headlines from the news. My only hope is that TLC or the USA nerwork pick it up and make a lot of money!

I love this show. Kathy Bates is terrific and I love all the diversity in the cast. The writers are fantastic. I will really miss this show. I look forward to watching it every week. NBC should cancel the silly "reality" shows and keet Harry! Kathy..you rock!

Oh darn!!! I really loved this show and all the characters in it!!!! The latest show was about a gay man who was not allowed to give his blood to his brother because the law prohibits any gay people from giving blood at any time.....the actor portraying his defense to the judge should be given an Emmy Award for his role....excellent! Please bring the show back.....why is it cancelled anyway? A lot of people I know enjoy it too!!
