NBC will not be renewing the Kathy Bates legal drama.
May 11, 2012
NBC has cancelled Harry's Law after two seasons on the air. The modestly-rated legal drama has long been considered on-the-bubble for earning a renewal past two seasons.
The show will end after a total of 34 episodes over two seasons. Its now-series finale will air on May 20, 2012.

Possibly the execs at NBC think that we are all so stupid that we can only handle dance, singing, talent or dating shows. Any show with substance is just too much for us to absorb. It seems a sad state of affairs that they also think our children are only capable of the same thing, and that we are rasing them to be mindless idiots. HARRY'S LAW is thought provoking and gives the message every week that there are two sides to every issue. Wake up NBC and smell the intelligence of the American people.

Unbelievable. The best acting I've seen on TV in years. Can't believe shows like this are getting cancelled for crap like Survivor and American Idol.

No one seems to care if the Baby Boomers like a show. If Gen X isn't watching, can it, no matter how good the rating are. I'm sticking to cable more and more. Why get invested in a show when the networks are not? Wish USA or another cable network would pick up this show.

I'm going to stop watching NBC because Harry's Law, Prime Suspect, Unforgettable are cancelled. What is going on? Are reality shows taking over this network as well? Hope not. Reality shows are stupid and I don't watch them.

Some other network could cash in on this wonderful program. Can't understand why us so-called old people don't count.Where do you think the 18-49 get their money from? US We are the people who paid for the college education. This show has excellent writing, acting and worthy of watching

This is my favorite show. There is so much reality TV that is mindless. This show makes you think. Why is it that shows with substance are gotten rid of to make room for "Fashion, Singing, or Talent Shows.†Please take me to back to a time when decent programming was on. NBC get a clue!

After reading that Harry's Law was canceled because only old people watch it did it for us. That is the only NBC show we watched because the rest is junk. Great show with great actors. The shows kept up with timely issues and well written. We will stick with CBS who caters to all ages. NBC you will be old one day.

This was the only show on NBC I watched. I no longer have any use for them.
