NBC will not be renewing the Kathy Bates legal drama.
May 11, 2012
NBC has cancelled Harry's Law after two seasons on the air. The modestly-rated legal drama has long been considered on-the-bubble for earning a renewal past two seasons.
The show will end after a total of 34 episodes over two seasons. Its now-series finale will air on May 20, 2012.

I can not believe this show has been cancelled! It has been my favorite show since it first aired. The cast is wonderful, the content current and relative. All I can say is that someone has their head up their anal cavity to make such a stupid move and leave the most ridiculous low life sitcoms continue to air and further lower the intelligence and morals of our society!

my husband and I like to DVR this show because we don't want to miss anything they say on the episodes. Each episode was not only topical but thought provoking. This is one of the most refreshing shows on NBC and even though we are not in your age demographics (both are 68)for advertisers, sometimes you need to listen to your viewers. Perhaps you should get rid of one of your "Reality" shows (they are getting very redundant)instead. I echo the comment above and hope that a cable network might pick this up.
I guess I will have to concentrate more on the lineup at CBS since they seem to know what is going on with their audience.

It looks like NBC is standing up to its name. . . Nitwit Broadcasting Company. They cancel Harry's Law. A good show. It shows how an individual that is over her teenage years can have a come back. Maybe some of the "higher" ups should take notice. The programming individual might want to check their backs. Maybe they will put Harry's Law on a cable network. I would watch for sure.

It is absolutely wrong to cancel this show. You should be following other demographics other than the 18-49 year olds. Kathy Bates is wonderful, and so is the rest of the cast. This show raised awareness on different aspects of life and law(like last night's show about gay people are not allowed to give blood). It was thought provoking and good. Shame on NBC!

Maybe a successful network, that knows a quality show, will pick up this great program and give it a steady, decent time slot.

It is a pity that one of the best shows on TV has been cancelled! I was just thinking how intelligent this show is as I watched it last night. No clue that it would be the second to last new episode I watched. Hopefully one of the cable networks picks this up! That is where I end up watching most of my shows since the big networks cannot keep from continuing the reality garbage and ditching the shows that have substance!
