The Ashley Judd drama will not be back next season.
May 11, 2012
ABC has cancelled Missing, the Ashley Judd drama about a mother whose son mysteriously disappears. The show premiered as a mid-season replacement back in March but stumbled out of the gate, failing to amass a substantial weekly viewership.
It has so far aired nine of its 10 ordered episodes, with the series finale set for May 17, 2012.

This was a great show and why would you cancel a show that was totally left us hanging with her disappearing and smiling in the rearview mirror at whoever was in tr backseat?Come on really that is just not right to end a show this way and then never bring it back

My wife and I very much enjoyed "Missing" with Ashley Judd. Please bring the show back. I think it was unfair to not give it a chance.

Please bring this show back. It says that it was cancelled after not "amassing" the amount of viewers that ABC demands... but has ABC ever stopped to think that maybe it did not "amass" more viewers because the show was not given a proper start? It started as a "mid-season replacement" and even though there were commercials advertising the show's arrival on air, most people do not START watching a show mid-season. If it had been given the proper start - that it deserved - in the Fall, then it definitely would have gotten more than enough viewers. It was a great show. Please bring it back. At the very least, do a two-part series finale following Ashley Judd's character's disappearance!
