The Ashley Judd drama will not be back next season.
May 11, 2012
ABC has cancelled Missing, the Ashley Judd drama about a mother whose son mysteriously disappears. The show premiered as a mid-season replacement back in March but stumbled out of the gate, failing to amass a substantial weekly viewership.
It has so far aired nine of its 10 ordered episodes, with the series finale set for May 17, 2012.

i love ashley judd and this show is great. when is tv goin to quit catering to those who watch the trashy reality shows that keep cluttering our networks. Some of us want to escape the trash that goes on in reality wth good tv. why are so many decent shows being cancelled? Is this society becoming so stupid that only trash will be available to watch? There is only so much news one can watch. Thank goodness for discovery and history channels.

great show, wonderful actors. we could have done without one of those horny medical doctor shows on tuesday nights and given missing a better time slot. hope another network picks it up

Are you network heads not rowing with both oars in the water. Missing was a fast paced, grab you and hold you in your seat show. I couldn't wait till next season and well, I guess you screwed that up. You made a real bad mistake cancelling this fantastic show. You should really reconsider this.

Really a good show...took a little time getting started and for us the viewer to understand....now they we have it ....gone. Really need to give these shows at least 2 seasons to develop. I find myself renting movies as television is a real let down.

Yeeeeeaaaah, I had high hopes for this show after the pitch, but a whole one episode in I was hoping that the son would just turn up dead and end the story alltogether.
I really couldn't feel any empathy for Ashley Judd's character as she was far too irritating to care about and really, who didn't just know that 006 (or Eddard Stark if you prefer) was still secretly alive by 15 min into the first episode?
Besdies, how long can a show like this go on anyways? I would just be frustrated after 22 seasons of chasing a kid that is into his 30's anyways. It always had the aire of a mini-series or lengthy, TV movie.
Not too sad to free up the part of my brain that was being used to remember episodes of this show.
on a sidenote, Jersey Shore was renewed... again!? Why hasn't someone started a genocidal disease outbreak again and made short work of what humanity has become again?

what a shame, another good show down the drain. I guess, not enough male/female bashing to suit today's sick minded viewers
so very sad

Once again, the bosses have got it all wrong, while they blame the show for bad rattings and still line there pockets with a steady pay check! Why not give Missing a new time slot and take a salary cut until they fix the low rattings! yes, I said it...
