The Kevin Williamson drama has been axed after one season.

The CW has cancelled The Secret Circle after one season on the air. The freshman drama was created by Kevin Williamson, who also runs the network's most popular show, The Vampire Diaries. Ratings for The Secret Circle, however, never reached that of its vampire lead-in.
Also cancelled by The CW today was Sarah Michelle Gellar's new drama Ringer. Given renewals were Nikita, Gossip Girl, and Hart of Dixie.

I'm pretty bummed that this show is cancelled. Its part of my Thursday lineup! I didn't watch The Ringer, I never got into it. I would like to see it come back! Grrrr

im so pissed this was one of the best shows ever what are they thinkin every one should go on strike dont watch any of the CW SHOWS or WB MOVIES black list them till they put THE SECRET CIRCLE back on air with a full season they never gave it a chance to get the views that the vampire diares holds after 3 years ive never fought for a show before so the CW watch out hate mail is on the way.COME ON PEOPLE FIGHT FOR THIS SHOW IF WE DONT NO ONE WILL

The Ringer and The Secret Circle were the best new shows for the CW
Why would these be cancelled. I watched these every week. I believe they deserve another chance before deciding to cancel them. I am very disappointed

Very upset that the secret cirlce was canceled, it was the only show that me and my daughter could both sit down and watch together:(

C.W sucks :( They canceled my mom and I's favourite shows,Secret Circle AND Ringer. I agree with betty, now I have like nothing to look foward to on thursday nights. :/ And secret circle was ended with such a cliff hanger in my opinion, now we're never going to know what ends up happening.:'( UGH.

OMG!!! You cannot be serious that they are cancelling this Amazing show! Many mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts, brothers, & many others too many to count LOVE this show! We look forward to Thursday nights at 9:00 p.m. EST to see what the writers have come up with next. Secret Circle is mind-riveting, almost-heart-stopping, chewing on our fingernails, heart-filled show! Why in the Good Grace of God--would CW make this show vanish? That's right--just dangle a fantastic show that has a fantastic following and then twitch your CW noses and make it disappear. Without viewers like us--there would be no CW TV station in the first place. What does that tell ya??????
