The Kevin Williamson drama has been axed after one season.

The CW has cancelled The Secret Circle after one season on the air. The freshman drama was created by Kevin Williamson, who also runs the network's most popular show, The Vampire Diaries. Ratings for The Secret Circle, however, never reached that of its vampire lead-in.
Also cancelled by The CW today was Sarah Michelle Gellar's new drama Ringer. Given renewals were Nikita, Gossip Girl, and Hart of Dixie.

Heroes, Ringer, Secret Circle, Harry's Law? and not to mention many other shows. Whats the point in watching this network if they continue to do this to viewers? Did these shows scare off the Christian Sunday church goers? I pay for Cable who doesn't now these days. I should be able to demand what the heck I want my eyes to see... This is not your choice, I am forced to bend my knees because you own the stupid CW.

I'm so sad! My daughter and I also watch this show together every week! She is gunna be super bummed when I tell her our show has been cancelled. I'm really surprised, we thought the show was great!

Omg!! I so pissed!! Such a great show with potential if ungot more viewers!! An still pissed u canceled her show last yr life unexpected was so good?! Ugh disappointed!!

Really sad and upset about the secret circle :( My daughter and i really enjoyed watching it together and talking about it. We would love for it to come back!!!!

i am totally hating the CW like why the hell would they cancell this. it was better than the vampire diaries, Nakita, and heart of dixie. wtf!

I can't express how disappointed I am about the cancellation of the show. They even waited until the finale to announce it and leave us hanging back where we started: nothing good to watch...

I'm so hurt, I love that show, please bring it back. The season finally was so good. It had me at the edge of my seat. I coulnt wait for thursdays to see my favorite show, the Secret Circle :(

omg Nikita is so lame who in the world watches this garbage anyway!?? Why is this renewed?? This dinky little stick figure is supposed to be this bad a** chick..It's so not believable. It looks completely ridiculous. You couldn't pay me to watch it and here Seccret Circle was at least something different and interesting. UGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow. such a heartbreaking day.. i cant believe cw would cancel this.. they barley gave it a chance makes me think they have something against the show .. i dont think we should let cw go this easy >:[
