The Kevin Williamson drama has been axed after one season.

The CW has cancelled The Secret Circle after one season on the air. The freshman drama was created by Kevin Williamson, who also runs the network's most popular show, The Vampire Diaries. Ratings for The Secret Circle, however, never reached that of its vampire lead-in.
Also cancelled by The CW today was Sarah Michelle Gellar's new drama Ringer. Given renewals were Nikita, Gossip Girl, and Hart of Dixie.

This is upsetting!!!! I really enjoyed this series and hope and pray they realize the mistake they made and bring it back on air.

I just DON"T get it you can have on 100's of stupid reality shows and a GREAT show like secret circle you CANCELL well it was filled with great actors and a storyline but yeah lets put on another reality show about people with no life or jobs abviously...BRING A GREAT SHOW SECRET CIRCLE BACK.....PLEASE

this so stupid this show was the best show that ive seen so far besides teen wolf but there no need to cancel a perfect show just cos u didnt get enough view like seriously it is rediculios :( :( :( :(

This is unbelievable! Must be a joke. Cancelling all our favorite shows is not a good way to get/keep viewers. There are so many crap shows out there and to cancel the exciting ones is a death sentence. CW, FIGURE IT OUT SOON PLEASE, we want Secret Circle!

I just was looking up to see when the show starts back and to find out it was cancelled. I am shocked really. I liked the show and it had a great story. I like syi-fyi shows. Yes I watch Vampire Diaries,Being Human and I really likes this show just as much. And for the other show that was cancelled I have never watched it but from reviews it must of been a pretty good show. I have never watch Nikita so cant say much for that show. I am truely sorry to hear this.

Another favorite show cancelled. Please do not replace it with another low life reality show. I really do not understand this particular cancellation. Rating were quite good. As was the show and its cast.

I hate when they cancel a good show and leave the ending opened with no conclusion!! This sucks!!!

Unbelievable!! I have been waiting ALL summer for The Secret Circle to come back on and just found out today that it was cancelled!! I'm SO upset with the WB!! I had three favorite shows that I NEVER missed and they were Vampire Diaries, Ghost Whisper and Secret Circle. Now I'm down to just Vampire Diaries! Maybe I'm better off NOT watching that show at all because they will probably get rid of that show next! So why get attached to it right? I'm better off just sticking to satelite TV instead. At least I get what I pay for!!

I can't believe this every time I find a show I like they cancel it .Please don't let it be for more reality shows .I will stop watching T.V. all together.
