The Kevin Williamson drama has been axed after one season.

The CW has cancelled The Secret Circle after one season on the air. The freshman drama was created by Kevin Williamson, who also runs the network's most popular show, The Vampire Diaries. Ratings for The Secret Circle, however, never reached that of its vampire lead-in.
Also cancelled by The CW today was Sarah Michelle Gellar's new drama Ringer. Given renewals were Nikita, Gossip Girl, and Hart of Dixie.

Well CW thanks for cancelling another decent show. My 3 favorite shows were on the CW and now 2 of them are cancelled. At least this show had a different storyline than every other stupid show out there. At least it wasn't another mindless reality show!! What a shame...this is VERY disappointing!!

I love Secret Circle--it held you onto your seat right up until each episode ended and I could't wait until the next week-the cliffhanger was awesome. CW has to bring back this amazing cast to continue this storyline..Thursday night will not be the same without it.

My sister and I have just spent 2days watching this way wicked series. We live in New Zealand so we don't get a lot of decent programs. Hope season 2 of the secret circle comes back real soon, this would have to be the best drama ive seen in along time. So bring it back BRING IT BACK!!!!!PLEEEEEZ!!!!

yah i think they should add that show back my whole family watched we all just came in at the time of secret circle and u couldnt move us why would u get rid of that show

i would you take such a good show off wb i never wach that wb befor then i seen the secret circle and then i was in love plz put it back on tv............ you may not think it was geting alot of people waching it but you was plzzz put it back on wb

PLEASE give us back The Secret Circle, or at least give us one more season just to give the show a proper ending. I believe the cast and director did a really good job, I absolutely loved to watch this show. I would literaly drop everything I was doing to watch this show on thursday nights. This show is the only show I have ever watched on this channel, so truth be know it was actually drawing more veiwers in to watching more shows on the WB. So at least give them credit for that and please give us at least one more season so we can watch a show that we really like without leaving us hanging. Thanks
