The CW has cancelled The Secret Circle after one season on the air. The freshman drama was created by Kevin Williamson, who also runs the network's most popular show, The Vampire Diaries. Ratings for The Secret Circle, however, never reached that of its vampire lead-in.
Also cancelled by The CW today was Sarah Michelle Gellar's new drama Ringer. Given renewals were Nikita, Gossip Girl, and Hart of Dixie.

How is this happening. One of the best shows they have had in a while. Hard to believe they are cancelling it after just one season. The Secret Circle and Ringer were the only two shows on the network i would tune in for. Guess i wont be watching anything on the CW any more. How disappointing. I hope they realize the mistake they have made and decide to bring both shows back.

Why cancel such a good show?? I know so many people who are into this.. me and my sister wait Everrry week just for it to come on!!! As if you'd cancel this show!! Ughh.

What is wrong with you?!!!!!! The Secret Circle was the best show since VD but you decide to cancel it then there is the fact that the other children are there and you dont make another season you are ridiculous CW just plain ridiculous..BRING IT BACK!!!

IF I SEE ANY MORE STUPID REALITY SHOWS OR DUMB COMEDYS THAT ONLY STONERS FIND FUNNY IM GOING TO CRACK THIS IS CRAZY CANCELING THE SECRET CIRCLE ITS THE BEST SHOW THE CW HAS AIRED SINCE SMALLVILLE SUPERNATURAL AND THE VAMPIRE DIARIES DO THEY NOT GET THIS THEY DIDNT EVEN GIVE THE SHOW A CHANCE ONE SEASON PLEASE IM SOOOO PISSED
