Some sad news for fans of the long-running CSI: Miami. CBS has cancelled the crime drama spin-off after 10 seasons on the air. The show got its start back in 2002, two years after the network realized it had a franchise-in-the-making with the popular CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
CSI: Miami is the first of the franchise to be cancelled. The series ends after 232 episodes. In related news, CSI: NY was renewed today for a ninth season.

Come on What the hell is going on so many good shows being stopped an no its not Drivel at all. I'd prefer to watch the likes of CSI miami than all this reality crap....I Love CSI: Miami.......Come on what are you doing CBS, your getting rid of the wrong show!!!!!! VERY WRONG MOVE....

At last! This CSI was the most unrealistic piece of drivel on tv! Cops with cleavage and spiked high heals in the field? Come on! Also their chasing the wrong leads for half a show was irritating at the least. And that computer from star wars was to much? what police department could afford it? I for one am glad to see it go. CSI is great as is CSI NY much better and more realilstic story lines.

What a sad day to hear about the cancellation of one of my favorite shows. I really would like to know what the "think tank" at CBS had on their minds when they voted for nonrenewal for another season. So many shows, nowdays, are not only mindless, but downright filthy both in plot and in language. At least this show had a good story line in each episode that kept the audience interested until the end. CBS, please reconsider this foolish move and reinstate this excellent show!

CBS execs are like the politicians. They are out of touch with what the public wants--and instead promotes their own agenda that noone is interested in. Like politicians--they need to be replaced!

if they cancel do to lack of ratings it's because on sunday nights it always ran late because of sports and people got sick of waiting for it to come on. Move it to a different day cbs

Really CBS really, even though I had to DVR due to you moved it to Sundays, not you said you cancel it all together. Do yall know what the hell ya doing, yall need to cancel some of these other shows not CSI Miami...

I agree with most of these people, that CBS has made a HUGE mistake in cancelling CSI Miami over shows like The Good Wife and all of the crap reality shows. I'm fed up with the reality shows!!!! The execs at CBS that are making these decisions need to be fired themselves.

What IDIOT is in charge for plugging the plug on some of the best shows on CBS. CSI: Miami and Unforgettable are GREAT shows. These need renewed. Pull the plug on some of these crazy Reality shows that make no sense at all!!!!
