Miami is the first of the franchise to end.
May 13, 2012
Some sad news for fans of the long-running CSI: Miami. CBS has cancelled the crime drama spin-off after 10 seasons on the air. The show got its start back in 2002, two years after the network realized it had a franchise-in-the-making with the popular CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
CSI: Miami is the first of the franchise to be cancelled. The series ends after 232 episodes. In related news, CSI: NY was renewed today for a ninth season.

I agree with eric. If they had left it on Monday it would be a different show being cancelled.

I cannot beleive that they are cancelling the best of the three series. No other show has a team like Miami. I have all the seasons, but I was looking forward to watching new seasons. I am tired of trying to figure out what makes a show successful. It seems they are cutting this one when others should be cut. Hey CBS, why don't you cut Two and one half men, and Mike and Molly, and give Miami that time slot. I am about ready to just stop watching CBS.

I just cannot believe CBS would cancel a great show like CSI MIAMI, I love this show. it is one of the best shows ever and CBS made a big mistake putting it on on Sundays. I agree with other comment that YOU SUCK CBS and you need to get your heads out of your asses and realize this is a great show!!!!!

I too am very upset to see this show being cancelled. I also think alot of the problem is the time slot. When football is on and runs over it is hard to stay up that late to watch. I also think this is the better of the csi's.

I watch all 3 of the CSI's and I think that they all have their own merits. With that being said, I think Sunday nights is where they put shows to die. When NFL is on, it's difficult to watch CSI: Miami, or any show for that matter, at the regular timeslot. I usually had to set me DVR some ridiculous time and hope that it caught it all or rely on the on demand channel...therefore doesn't the network realize that they numbers they look for are a bit skewed?? Apparently not....

Unbelievable.

I don't get this. CSI Miami is so much better than NY, and Las Vegas. I mean cbs is trying to kill Las Vegas bringing Ted Danson in. However there is nothing wrong with Miami, you got to wonder why.

This has to be unbelievable. The CBS Big wigs are out of there minds. I watch CIS Miami all the time. Stop some other unwatchable show. This one is to the point, and is at least worth watching. Now I will have to find another Channel to watch on Sunday. Thanks for nothing.
