Miami is the first of the franchise to end.
May 13, 2012
Some sad news for fans of the long-running CSI: Miami. CBS has cancelled the crime drama spin-off after 10 seasons on the air. The show got its start back in 2002, two years after the network realized it had a franchise-in-the-making with the popular CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
CSI: Miami is the first of the franchise to be cancelled. The series ends after 232 episodes. In related news, CSI: NY was renewed today for a ninth season.

Don't cancel CSI Miami. In love this show. Its one of the better shows. I hate all the reality shows, they are stupid and boring.

You cancel the shows that are interesting and leave the reality shows that are terrible on the air. If you want to make them really reality, have people stay on the island until near death.

Really CSI NY Over CSI Miami?? I am sorry but there are too many shows like Survivor and Amazin Race that can really be hatched. I am a strong fan of CSI Miami. You can save some $$$ by cutting the amazing race alone. Bring Back Horatio Kane and the rest of the crew...

I can't believe this show is getting the boot over CSI NY. That is CRAZY. This show is so amazing, it just happens to have a horrible time slot. The show comes on Sundays, which is fine sometimes if you aren't planning on going to bed early, which many people do. This show would do so much better on a different date. During sports seasons, especially football season, the show can come on almost an hour later than it is supposed to, which makes recording it really hard. These problems are the networks fault. They need to dump some of their stupid shows that no one actually enjoys and reality shows that are completly overdone. This show is so amazing and should have another season or two without a doubt, just with a better time slot.

That sucks
U people just keep putting stupid shows on tv and moving good shows then u try to save the crap shows
FYI..... If no one watches it. It sucks
To cancel a show after 10 seasons is ridiculous there is a reason why it lasted so long
Just keep saving the dumb shows and get rid of the good ones and soon enough no one will watch tv anymore

I have also been an avid fan of CSI: Miami. It is my favorite show and I also agreed about the reality shows and people making fools of themselves in front of the whole world for money. I have never watched them and I never will! The original CSI show got me started on all of them but I agree about the cast change. I no longer watch that show.

This is one of my favorite shows. Monday nights were better than Sundays. Good acting. I like David Caruso, and am sorry he won't be back. Maybe he'll be on another show. Many thanks for all the great shows.

You have got to be kidding me. Find a way to keep CSI-Miami on the air.

It seems as if that's what CBS wanted it hardly ever came on on time this season. Every Sunday we're rushing home to watch just to find out that its going to come on 20mins to an hr late. It never came on at 9 but a handful of times this entire season & then they cancel it? I guess the fans dont deserve an expanation after 10years though!
