The show's second season may only be seen by Canadian audiences.
May 17, 2012
Freshman drama The L.A. Complex was notably missing from The CW's 2012-2013 schedule that was just released today. This news is really a no-brainer, considering the show's abysmal ratings over its first four episodes.
For its first two episodes, The L.A. Complex started out with a paltry 0.3 rating among adults 18-49. Things managed to get even worse from there, with it dropping a point lower to a 0.2 for its previous two airings. In terms of overall viewers, that's about half a million each week. Low, even by the struggling CW's standards.
Granted, it is a summer series produced up in Canada. The CW bought the rights to its 6-episode first-season, and come next summer they could opt to purchase the second season as well. But considering the show's ratings stateside, that looks unlikely to happen.
The best chance for fans of The L.A. Complex is to try and catch more episodes on Canadian network Much Music, since the show has already been renewed for a second season of 13 episodes up north. Season 2 is expected to premiere some time in July 2012. There is also the possible eventual DVD release option down the road.
For the time being, Season 1 of The L.A. Complex is continuing to air Tuesday nights on The CW. Two episodes remain, with its season finale set for May 29, 2012.

this show actually is very well done, if you watch it thoroughly its actually a show that shows many more things in real life than any other show ive seen. It goes through so many ups and downs and actually INTERESTING events in peoples lives. It is very well done, and I just finished the second season, and it NEEDS to come back on. It picked up wayyy more in the second season, and is very good. I'm an avid tv drama show watcher, and yes gossip girl is one of my guilty pleasures, but this show, has so much more to offer, its not the same thing being repeated over and over like gossip girl (even though i still love it) but its so different, and every character brings a meaning to the show, and you have to love them for who they are, and how different they all are, yet connected. very well done in my books, and im sorry people feel this way about it, but i disagree, had me hooked from the start cause unfortunatly deals with a lot of every day life drama, but still so very realistic in some stories, but i love the characters, love the show, and really hope its not the end. Hate that i watch it online because im usually never around to watch it on tv to only make my views help.. i hope online helps as well, because it is highly viewed online, and .. again, extremely well done, and id hate to see it end.

I think you all are crazy. What the the show is all about is having a dream and doing the best you can to follow that dream. It is about having the courage to live away from mommy and daddy and making your own choices and learning about life as you go. That is why it called a drama. It develope as it goes.

I really like LA Complex. I like the characters &
situations, and I would like to watch more episodes.
Frankly, also, I like the CW (though I know LA Complex
is a purchased Canadian series).

the show only has 2 interesting characters which is the black kid fooling around wwith the closeted rapper and the cute blonde who wants to tour as a featured dancer on usher's upcoming tour.the washed up movie star would be my third choice but everybody else sucks including the main star who isnt eye catching like the girls that star on the Cws flagship show-Gossip Girl

What really causes shows like this to be cancelled so quickly is the lack of development and storytelling. From what I've seen, L.A. Complex wasn't really developing at all. It was all about auditioning for something and nothing more. So, it wouldn't surprise me a bit to see this show go off the air after only one season.

The CW will like pick up season 2 and air it during their summer block. They don't have any other shows to air except reruns...
