TNT has announced that Rizzoli & Isles has been renewed for Season 4. The crime drama will return in 2013 with another 15 episodes - matching the number ordered for its current third season.
"Anchoring a new night in its third season, Rizzoli & Isles has proven itself to be a strong and enduring hit, not only in terms of the great storylines and performances, but also in terms of the show's stellar ratings," said network president Michael Wright. "We're thrilled that Rizzoli & Isles will continue to be a vital part of the TNT lineup."
Along with Rizzoli & Isles, TNT also renewed the 2012 return of Dallas today for a second season.
UPDATE: Season 4 of Rizzoli & Isles premieres on June 18, 2013.

i love the wonder of the chemistry between jane and maura and the fact that oppisites do attract and i love the fact the network sees that women are very capable of whatever comes their way as long as they have each other

Get real, show has huge gay following (always a good sign artistically), Rizzoli & Isles should be each other's love interests! Or let's at least keep it as a subtext, was certainly there in the first episodes --romantic dinners, etc. -- gives the show an interesting subliminal tension. This is a classic that will be watched for decades. Go Angie Harmon & Sasha A.!

Love the show, love Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander in the lead roles - they compliment each other well!! So excited it will be back!!

I love the show and never miss it.they do need to geta love match for maura and mom, this show makes strong women feel stronger!!!!!!

I agree with all the positive fans of the show, but they need to get lasting love interests for both and janes mom. I love the show and can't wait for the new season.
