TNT announced yesterday that Rizzoli & Isles has been renewed for a seventh season. Word is the pickup is for a shortened 13-episode run, down from the 18 it got for Season 6. The veteran drama remains popular though, currently drawing enough viewers to make it cable TV's most-watched series.
Look for Season 7 of Rizzoli & Isles to premiere in the summer of 2016.

Great News!! I love this show! The mix of comedy & drama is perfect & the characters are extremely likable.

To be honest I preferred Angie Harmon in Women's Murder Club which was a far better series.

The actor that played Susie had an offer for another series and Rizzoli let her go. They killed off the character as a tip of the hat that no one could do that position better. Get a life and look before you type.

Have to agree with Mark's comments that the killing of Suzie was a big mistake, she was a great character, who should have been used more. Also the writing of the show has gone down hill from the first couple of seasons

I quit watching this show. The final straw was the killing off of Susie. I was hoping she would have a bigger role this season, instead they kill her. I was not surprised since they added the new Doc. An obvious love interest for Maura. I can't stand Angela either!
