The popular summer drama will return in 2015.

TNT announced today that Rizzoli & Isles has been renewed for a sixth season. The crime drama has been a mainstay as one of basic cable's top shows over the course of its run, with its current fifth season finishing this past summer as basic cable's #1 series.
The remaining episodes in Season 5 will return this February, with Season 6 expected to premiere in summer 2015 with an 18 episode order.

Character wise, this show is going no where and should probably just end. I was a big fan in the beginning but I find the main characters too condescending.

Love this show! It's one of my all-time favorites. SO glad it is going to continue.

Good deal, we figured with the new direction TNT was going they was going to pull the plug on this great crime drama.

I am so glad this was renewed. It's one of my all time favorite shows. I love that it has two very strong female leads. WTG TNT
