ABC has cancelled Private Practice after deciding not to order the back nine episodes of the current sixth season, which will now be 13 episodes in length. The medical drama, originally spun off of the still-going-strong Grey's Anatomy, has aired over 100 episodes since premiering in 2007.

I am VERY dissapointed that one of my favorite shows is ending!! I hope there will be enough Fan protest to bring one of the best shows on TV back!!

This is so unbelieveable!!!! I love this show!!! Why must all of these CRAP shows STAY on TV while the good ones get cut off at the knees. No wonder I am watching less and less TV on ABC. I am so sorry for the cast and all of the crew who will be out of a JOB. Thanks ABC....

I am TOTALLY disgusted...I really loved this show, the story lines were great... of course once again stupidity and greed win out. I am educated and DO NOT have any interest or desire to watch more garbage such as reality tv.

I am done watching any new series on ABC. Private Practice was the best show and I too never missed an episode. I will start reading more books and watching less television. I am disgusted with some of the reality shows and refuse to waste my life watching that garbage.

Seriously, this is one of the best shows on tv, set my dvr every tuesday night and havent missed one episode. you need to bring it back, it actually showed things that real people deal with and all the actors are amazing.
