ABC has cancelled Private Practice after deciding not to order the back nine episodes of the current sixth season, which will now be 13 episodes in length. The medical drama, originally spun off of the still-going-strong Grey's Anatomy, has aired over 100 episodes since premiering in 2007.

There are very few shows that keep your attention and you really look forward to watching. I can't believe they cancelled this one!

VERY disappointed in this cancellation. This was by far 1 of my 3 fav shows to watch each week; and it was the ONLY show I watched on ABC at all. I lost interest in Grey's Anatomy several years ago, Private Practice has a much better story line & more interesting characters. PLEASE reconsider!!

i was upset when i saw the finaly of private practice just when it was getting real good. was my favarite show to watch. why would you end something that everyone enjoyed soo much

Private Practice in my opinion was an awesome show...I just couldn't wait for it to come on each week....very disappointed that it is off the air. Now I have nothing to watch on Tuesday night! "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

VERY dissapointed in ABC for cancelling this show!! I would agree with a prior post, soon nobody will care to watch ABC shows if this is the trend.... would highly suggest to reconsider this decision!

I am highly disappointed at ANC for canceling this program!!! It was wonderfully written, interesting to watch and much more interesting than ANY reality show out there! Sometimes the heads of the television or network executive leap
before thinking, and then take off a very well written highly watched show, for some idiotic non well written piece of crap!!!'
You should highly re consider this decision and put Private Practice back on the air to be enjoyed bh those of us who have a brain and enjoy something that is awesome!'n

AGREED! ABC has made a big mistake! Private Practice was a great show, sad to see it go!

I am so sad that Private practice has been cancelled? It was one of the best night time shows. I would like to know why the reality shows are winning over?Some are nonsense. I will miss watching PP ever week.The acting and story line were awesome.

I can't believe that this show is cancelled. I could not wait until the next show came every week. the station made a big mistake again, This show was well written and a joy to watch every week,all of the reality shows need to stop ,people are really getting tired of these shows.Bring back the show ,we all need something good to watch on television not all of the scrap that is being put on now.ABC bring it back!!!! Big mistake!!!!
