ABC Cancels Private Practice

The Shonda Rhimes drama ends after five years on the air.

ABC has cancelled Private Practice after deciding not to order the back nine episodes of the current sixth season, which will now be 13 episodes in length. The medical drama, originally spun off of the still-going-strong Grey's Anatomy, has aired over 100 episodes since premiering in 2007.

You should have have taken the bachelor off instead of Private Practice. I think it is so dumb to have all these reality shows. Private Practice was a very entertaining show. We do not need reality shows. Life is full of reality We need a change from that.

ABC SUCKS!! !! you take away all the good shows and replace them with CRAP!! that no one wants to watch. Your ratings are really going in the toliet. Private Practice was great for adults to watch and even relate to, you guys really know how to screw things up!

I can't believe you canceled private practice. Just when things start to get good. Reality shows are taking over and it's stupid. I guess you will be canceling greys antimony as well Y'all know how to mess up good things.

I was shocked to see that Private Practice had their last episode last night. If find myself watching less and less on ABC. When they do things like this, without warning, they just make their viewers mad. Glad I don't watch much on your network!!!!!!

Everytime I find a series I really get into, it gets cancelled. Thinking about staying away from series shows and just watching movies!!!!! Don't understand why those damn reality shows are taking over!!

I can not believe that all these great things are happening with the characters of Private Practice and NOW they want to cancel...it I am with everyone else I loved brothers and sisters and I miss not having good shows to watch...I think private practice and Greys rock....they need to reconcider....

abc love just pissing people veiwer off.we all set to enjoy another good show and abc just take it away, whether it daytime shows or nighttime show.you already took our favorite storys from us now you are taking our favorite night story from us.make me sick.i go to work everyday and this is what i enjoy watching from a long day of work.but cant do that anymore because you.damn yall just fked up my evening.so pissed off and disappointed of abc.damn damn!!!!
