The new drama has received a 'back nine' pick-up from the network.

CBS announced today that freshman drama Vegas has been picked up for a full season. The network has ordered the back nine episodes to top up the count to 22.
The series, which follows a fourth-generation rancher tasked with restoring order to Las Vegas in the 1960s, has so far aired three episodes since premiering in late September.

Please do not cancel one of the few shows my husband and I enjoy. We look forward to the next episode of Vegas each and every week, the drama and the flow of the story lines will be greatly missed. You have a good cast, a good setting and excellent script. If you need to cancel something, cancel one of those wishy-washy so-called reality shows.

I see that Golden Boys is being aired in the Vegas time slot. Does this mean we aren't going to get any new Vegas shows?

We watdch vegas and like it very much. We also like body of proof and glad it is coming back, but.

I love this show Vegas. It has gotten so interesting and the cast works so well together. Please give it aleast 2 seasons. It is a great show.

My husband and I love Vegas. Even in 2013 the true spirit of Vegas lies in its being a town that remembers its' frontier history and the 1960's setting was a perfect way to educate and entertain at the same time.

I for one and my wife love this program so why was it dropped without any reason given to us viewers that watch it all the time and really enjoy it? please bring it back.

I have also heard the rumor that the show might be canceled. What the heck? I, like many others, keep my Tuesday night schedule open so I can sit back and watch Vegas. This is one of my favorite shows and I don't watch TV much. My parents love the show, I love the show and my kids love the show. So in my family you have 3 generations that enjoy Vegas. Not sure who does your demographic calculations, but you might want to audit their process and counts cause I think they are flawed... P.S. KEEP the Show.. (hint hint)

I Enjoy this show a lot, and hearing a random person saying you guys are going to cancel this show, there must be something really screwed up with your view of what is good and what isn't. I don't want to see another damn reality crap show, I want a good Action, Drama, or even a comedy show, but not with Laughing audience in the background. And Vegas has it all, I do Enjoy the other shows the CBS has like CSI, CSI: NY, NCIS etc...
I don't think everything should be based on ratings, because you can't please everyone what they like and don't like. And you can't forth tell the future with 3 episodes like you did with Made in Jersey. Some people including my self were PO'd because you guys cancelled the show after 3 episodes that is freaking stupid and very un business like. You want to keep audience glued to the television sets, Take of the Survivor crap or Big Brother and give us something we like to watch instead something that people have no intentions at watching it at all. Survivor suppose to be real and not scripted to the Networks Producers liking. Ebough Said, No need Fake TV.
