A drama following a rancher tasked with restoring order to 1960's Las Vegas.
Inspired by the true story of former Sheriff Ralph Lamb, Vegas follows a fourth-generation rancher tasked with bringing order to Las Vegas in the 1960s, when the city was emerging a gambling and entertainment mecca.
Ralph Lamb just wants to run his ranch in peace, but Las Vegas is a fast-growing city, swelling with outsiders and corruption which intrude on his simple life. When the mayor comes to Lamb for help, recalling his command as a military police officer during World War II, Lamb takes the job of Sheriff and clashes with Vincent Savino, a ruthless big city gangster with his own agenda for Las Vegas.
Now these two powerful men engage in a ferocious battle for control of the budding desert oasis.

My husband and I both loved to watch Vegas. This show had excellent writing, great characters/actors, beautiful costuming and interesting locations. We were shocked when it disappeared and can't believe it won't be back. What a terrible decision!

This is hard show to write for... I hope they bring the show back. However, I am glad it left on a solid rating scale. Great show. But story lines can run out fast in these kind of TV series.

Please bring Vegas back! It was so well written and loved the characters. It was much better than most of the other shows on TV and on CBS

BRING VEGAS BACK!! BRING VEGAS BACK!! BRING VEGAS BACK!! This show was a huge hit amongst my friends and myself. I honestly don't think it was given chance it deserved. Let's not act like NBC here CBS, be smarter and bring back a show j was on pins and needles waiting for it to come back...only to find the idiots on th top floor cancelled it. Stop bringing back the disgusting, immature, catty reality junk tv, and bring back shows with really great story lines, great acting and just an overall great show!! CBS, if you don't want to renew it then get another network to pick it up...I think you'd be surprised at how well it will do in th ratings!!

I can't believe this show is being cancelled. It was one of the best shows on TV - especially since it was true stories. I think CBS is making a BIG mistake in cancelling this great show and I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks so. Can't you please reconsider continuing on with the stories of this man and what went on in this town....

It seems to me everyone should be blaming / suing the Neilson ratings people for discriminating against people over 49 for all the good shows being canceled. If you're between 18-49 years old you get your choice of what to watch. Over 49 and your voice just does not count anymore. Loved this show. Hate to see it gone.
