The new drama has received a 'back nine' pick-up from the network.

CBS announced today that freshman drama Vegas has been picked up for a full season. The network has ordered the back nine episodes to top up the count to 22.
The series, which follows a fourth-generation rancher tasked with restoring order to Las Vegas in the 1960s, has so far aired three episodes since premiering in late September.

I just found this show and it is wonderful. Plenty of action without a whole lot of cussing. I love Dennis Quaid - do not take this show off - there is so little to watch of any value these days.

Please do not cancel Vegas. Sounds like a lot of people like it too. It is one of my favorite shows. I was really disappointed to see Golden Boy to take its place. This past year I had for the first time in years started watching CBS shows again. The first reason was NCIS. That is the best show on TV in my opinion. I really enjoyed Vegas too. If Vegas is cancelled, the only reason I will watch anything on CBS is NCIS. I absolutely agree with Tabor above--take off those silly reality shows.

Please do not cancel Vegas.There is not many shows worth watching on network tv,but Vegas is a very good show.Please pick it up for more deasons.

Where is Vegas? Please keep the show on the air!!! We love this show and it is very interesting and suspenseful!!!

Can't believe Vegas was cancelled. My boyfriend and I looked forward to each episode. Golden Boy doesn't even come close to holding our interest.

Vegas cancelled? Hope not. Love the show and the characters. Golden Boy is awful!! Will not watch it for sure. Will be looking for another channel and another show!!!!

"Vegas" and "NCIS" are the best two shows on TV. "Golden Boy" simply cannot keep my interest for 5 minutes and I turn the channel. CBS cancelled "A Gifted Man", which was one of my favorite shows, as well as the favorite of many others . Now, they are taking "Vegas" off? I will no longer watch CBS if "Vegas" is cancelled. I am tired of getting interested in shows that get cancelled without warning; great drama shows, I might add! Take off some of the stupid reality shows and keep shows that everybody likes.
