USA Network's long-running drama will return in 2013.
November 8, 2012
USA Network has announced that its longest running original drama, Burn Notice, has been renewed for a seventh season. On the air since 2007, the series has remained one of the network's top shows, and will be its third ever to reach the 100 episode mark.
“Burn Notice is like a fine wine that gets better with age,” said network Co-Presidents Chris McCumber and Jeff Wachtel. “Delivering high-octane action, gripping drama and nearly 7 million viewers for the mid-season finale, this veteran series is a proven staple of our portfolio.”
The second half of the show's sixth season returns tonight with a special two-hour episode, and will continue through to the end of the year. USA ordered 13 new episodes for Season 7 of Burn Notice, which will return later in 2013.
UPDATE: Season 7 of Burn Notice will be the show's last.

JUST get rid of the gabrielle anwar /michael donovan romance. the show was much more exciting without the relationship which has dragged it down. We miss nate, too. WHy not kill off "fee" because that dynamic is a story-suck. Michaels lone wolf gig is what works and that way he is free to pursue Bond-type of short term romances that help the story line work. LOVED the other CIA boss and there was sexual tension there for Michael as well. JUST THINK ABOUT IT USA NETWORK> we are devoted to suits, burn notice, white collar and royal pains. Forget about network shows. THanks for cancelling fairly legal and please cancel covert affairs. THEY were mindless. Wish you brought back "Life" that was awesome!

I think it's a fantastic show, w/ good writing and storytelling. It's a very unique show. You folks that don't get the show, or the dynamic between the characters, well that's just tough twinkies. No one forced you to watch. So flip the channel and watch something else. 7 million viewers and one of USA's top and longest running dramas tells the real story. And I for one hope it stays on for another 6 or 7 seasons...

I must be missing something...don't see what anyone sees in this show. I tried to watch it, more than once and could barely get to the first commercial. Must be a guy thing.

I like the show and I still watch it but honestly this scares me because they have ran out of ideas. I dont see what ideas they are going to have that are going to work for a whole nother season. They are burning it into the ground and are prolly going to ruin it even more than they already have.
