NBC announced today that its new drama, Chicago Fire, has received a pick-up for the remainder of the 2012-2013 season. This means nine additional episodes have been ordered on top of its original 13.
The good news comes after the show garnered a series high rating this past Wednesday night, bolstered by the strong performance of its lead-in, The Voice.

Finally a show that isnt a cop show is getting a chance, which it deseves because it is a great show.
