FOX has cancelled the struggling drama after one season.
November 28, 2012
FOX will not be renewing freshman drama The Mob Doctor after a low-rated first season. The struggling series got off to a slow start when it premiered this past September and never managed to pull itself out of its ratings funk.
All 13 episodes that were originally ordered will still air, but the some of the final episodes have been moved to Saturday nights. Fans of the show will want to take note of the following schedule:
- Saturday, December 29, 2012
- Monday, December 31, 2012
- Saturday, January 5, 2013
- Monday, January 7, 2013

This is a great show. Every season something new comes on then gets cancelled and stupid animated shows get new contracts or the reality shows. Such a disappointment.

I am not a big follower of many shows and this is the reason, my last show Lie to Me was fantastic and was dropped now this one. I am tuning out on Fox. I will stick with my Dicovery ID shows.

One of the best new shows of the season. They never tried to save it by moving it to a new time slot. They should have given more time to develop and grow a following. Wake up FOX!!!

I hear you, the mucky mucks that run the networks act like they are on crack. But hay lets face it the system for rating shows is outdated and needs to be changed. just like the shows. Terriers was a good show, I grew up in Ocean beach San Diego where it was filmed and loved the show but was afraid it would be canceled because no one could relate to the name of the show and thus it did not get a chance in hell to make it. Mob Doctor was good, grew on me each week, has a great cast and is a far cry better than any of the reality shows and the cooking shows we are forced to put up with. I am sorry but when I look at everything that is going on in the U.S. for the last twenty years their is no loyality given to employees or to good tv, seems that it is all about the money and politics it needs to pay off quick. This year I have seen more shows canceled that I like than in any other year. I did not commplain when Eureka was canceled because it was done with class. The last show had everyone moving on to new and better things. Harrys Law was a major disapointment in not being renewed, still do not know why, reason was covered up internally. We have many shows that are going to run with what has already been filmed but willleave us hanging as their is no ending explaining anything. Need to have a law passed insisting a logical end to any series that runs for a season of twelve shows or more. Enough said, thank all of you who read this this sight is wonderful, hope it never gets canceled. MKL

Another good show killed before it's time. Sooooo sick of this this! Why do we bother watching the fall premiers??? You get attached to a show, and then it's cancelled. I had a strong hunch that Grace is Constantine's daughter, but now we'll never know. You suck Fox.

Whoever created the nielsen ratings system needs to realize it is a flawed outdated sytem that is causing premature cancellations of quality shows!Alot of the younger and PC literate users dont use cable to watch their favorite shows!I have been pissed since Terriers got the axe!How and the hell is True Blood still on TV????????
