FOX has cancelled the struggling drama after one season.

FOX will not be renewing freshman drama The Mob Doctor after a low-rated first season. The struggling series got off to a slow start when it premiered this past September and never managed to pull itself out of its ratings funk.
All 13 episodes that were originally ordered will still air, but the some of the final episodes have been moved to Saturday nights. Fans of the show will want to take note of the following schedule:
- Saturday, December 29, 2012
- Monday, December 31, 2012
- Saturday, January 5, 2013
- Monday, January 7, 2013

One of the better shows this season... makes me worried about the future when well acted shows are axed over crap like Mindy Project and Real Housewives... Proves that people are just mindless drones these days.

Mob Doctor - my favorite show of the new season. I did not find the show until episode 3, but was hooked. It would have been a good series if you had given it time to grow.

WHAT... my husband and I love this show! Why do they always scrap the real shows and instead we are left with all these "modern fairytales" which are too weird.

Yep, yet another new show i loved that has been cancelled. It's gotta be over half of the new shows that started this season, that i watch, have been cancelled. Is there any point in me even watching new tv shows?

Dammit...its sad to see this one go. It was a good and original show. I hope they do not leave it on a cliffhanger.

I'm really disappointed that they cancelled this show :( Just when it was getting good too! I love Jordana Spiro, I loved her in My Boys and was so excited to see her back on TV. Oh we'll, I guess I'll have to wait for her to find her next hit show!
