NBC has renewed the long-running soap for an additional year.

NBC announced today that iconic daytime series Days of our Lives has been renewed through September 2014. The news comes just days before the show will air its 12,000th episode. By the end of this year, the show will also be celebrating its 48th anniversary.

I love Days and I hope that it don't go off the air. This is like the only show I watch

I hate to see those two great actors leaving Will and Kristen. They make the show pretty enjoyable.

I love days and couldnt imagine it not being on.ive watched for over 20years.my days would be so boring without all the drama.keep it goin

days has been on for like forever best soap out there hope it stays on the air for many more years im a big fan of the show

Why are they renewing for such a long period of time, this soap just like the other remaining soaps are just recycling story lines, for instance Sami and EJ, they've beat that dead horse too much only because some fans think they have so much chemistry. Whatever happened to good solid creative story lines.
