The new series has been pulled after just three episodes.
March 2, 2013
ABC has cancelled freshman thriller Zero Hour after a mere three episodes, pulling the series from its schedule effective immediately. The show struggled out of the gate, premiering to a lowly 1.4 adults 18-49 rating, which is the network's lowest-rated in-season scripted debut in its history. Things got worse from there with it dropping to a 1.0 this past Thursday, sealing its fate.
ABC will air repeat episodes of Shark Tank in its 8pm Thursday time slot until Wife Swap takes over the spot on March 21.

Zero Hour was a good show. My husband and I enjoyed the 3 episodes we saw. Not long enough. Netflix looks better and better.

I can't believe that ABC would cancell a show with such potential after only 3 episodes. Why; because it requies an audience with some level of intelligence? This type of complex plot line requires time to develop and for word to spread to "thinking viewers" that there is something airing besides reality rubbish and asinine stories. I agree with Amy that it should have been moved to a better time slot following an appropriately audienced show.

I thoroughly enjoyed this show. Don't feel all voices were heard. I am part of the growing senior set. Please re-consider

Unbelievable. "Reality" shows strike again. Does this bespeak of lack of intelligence of the American viewer or the utter disregard for worthwhile programming by the execs? So it got low ratings out of the gate. The '80s and the way of thinking about ratings in that era are long gone. with hundreds of channels, the demographic is spread wide and thinly. The fact that nonsensical shows like "Wife Swap" and "Shark Tank" are so pervasive and that shows like this one are chopped before they are given a chance brings me to the verge of tears...

I too, was just "getting it." Sometimes it takes a show some weeks to set up the whole story line and concept....Getting VERY tired of shows being cancelled after I sit and watch using my time and hours, just to have it cancelled on me. CRAP !!!! What is it with ABC?? Have they lost their minds when it comes to GOOD TV and not keeping it on. Not everyone wants to watch Reality TV. I hate it! Give me a good drama with something for me to sink my teeth into. PLEASE....

I agree with all the comments expressing disappointment
that ZERO HOUR has been cancelled. To say that most of the comedies & reality shows are an insult to our minds is an understatement.
But it won't be the first or last time, I guess, that the 'powers that be' manipulate TV programing to satisfy individuals with no good sense or moral base.
I can hope that the decision will be reversed. I am an optimist, in spite of the very poor decision choices made.
The only other time I took the time to give my opinion was when they took 'Designing Women' off the air after 2 or 3 episodes.

The people on this blog who are happy this show was cancelled are morons. They are probably the same people who kept "The Office", "Parks and Recreation" and "Community" on the air. These shows are the worst comedies ever written. I know these are NBC shows, but nevertheles they should've never been on the air at all. IMHO these shows are the worst comedies on TV in the last 25 years. I am truly saddened about the cancellation of this show. As far as bad acting goes, there are far worse shows on TV with far worse actors in them. Sorry to see you go Zero Hour!

I'm really disappointed that this show was cancelled. I was just getting into it. I saw two months of commercials for the premiere, and then three episodes. I think the executives at ABC need to rethink their priorities. This show definitely could have found an audience if it was on during the right time slot. It could have aired after Revenge on Sunday nights or Grey's Anatomy on Thursdays. I'm really starting to get annoyed with ABC. I know that not every show can make it, but come on. Cancelling a show after three episodes seems a little premature.

I can tell ZERO HOUR didnt even stand a chance even when it was commercialized. Sorry actors and producers, etc. but, our audience/fans like " no so confusing shows". it was really bad. Not a storyline whatsoever. Sorry Again.
