Syfy announced today that reality competition series Face Off has been renewed for Season 5. Production on the new season begins next month, with a premiere set for the coming summer.
"Face Off continues to prove itself as a ratings hit, earning critical and viewer accolades alike, and we are proud to bring the series back for another stunning season," said Mark Stern, the network's President of Original Content.
The show is currently airing its fourth season, which will conclude next Tuesday, March 26, 2013.

You obviously don't like reality shows but at least get the content right. "its not even real music" doesn't apply to a show about special effects make-up.

more mindless "i cant be bothered to do summit" tv, it just doesnt do anything but make people today look like crazy wannabe stars its not even real music, and u cut shows like csi miami, 666 park av, alphas, zero hour, for this???

Godo show. A bit too many commercials, but enjoyable nonetheless. I like that there's little "reality drama" fostered by the contestants and it's primarily a straight up competition rather than being overly scripted and about "characters" who are competing. Glad to see it will be coming back.
