The special effects competition returns in January.

Syfy has announced that Face Off will be returning for an eighth season in January. The critically-acclaimed special-effects make-up competition's new season will be themed "Return of the Champions", bringing back three former winners who will each select a team of five new artists that they will coach during the season.
Season 8 of Face Off premieres on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 9:00pm with a two back-to-back episodes.

I sort of watched last season, It's getting old. It's not as if the competitors are people off the street they are professionals! I am so done with this show.

Crap. Again?! I liked this show when it first came out but they've forced so much of it down our throats over the last few years I kind of hate it now. Its like, everytime I turn the SyFy channel on, Face off is on. Nothing good to put in a time slot, Oh lets just plug and episode of Face off in there. Kind of like what they did with Star Gate back in the day. This special effects/Make up stuff IS interesting and I respect what they do but is it 8 seasons worth of interesting? That would be a big fat nooooo. Also, SyFy, please get rid of all this fake ghost hunter shows. That stuff is old and busted.

1st OFF BEFORE SYFI EVEN THINKS ABOUT ENDING FACE OFF.....They need to have a best of ;like the top 3 from all the seasons before...now i think that would make for some AWESOME make ups and some great fabercattions
