HBO has once again picked up the popular series.

HBO announced today that Game of Thrones has been renewed for a fourth season. The pick-up comes just days after the medieval drama's season 3 premiere, which hit a series high in viewership with an average 4.4 million viewers for its 9:00pm airing.
There is no word on the number of episodes planned for Season 4 of Game of Thrones but an order of 10 is likely, which would be in line with the show's first three seasons.
UPDATE: Season 4 of Game of Thrones premieres on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at 9:00pm.

in HBO we can always trust with our eyes closed. They never cancel they series... ever, even if ratings are low.

Game of Thrones is Smart! Probably to smart for those who only pick up a book to level a wobbly table. I have never been one for fantasy, but after the first 3 episodes, I was hooked! Had to find the entire collection in hardback, and read each book before the new season begins. Director does a pretty good job following the books. A year in between seasons can be brutal, but a show this entertaining is worth the wait.

this new season is slow i keep waiting for it to speed up theres so many different stories now to follow u loose track who what where when now.

Great news. Just wish they could do more episodes each season, but most likely budget issues. At least they don't waste any episodes with nonsense.

Game of Thrones was way too boring, I tried to get interested, I stopped ages ago when baby dragons were stolen, just too dumb. Supernatural’s zillionth season is far more riveting. Actually I stopped watching that ages ago as well, I was hopping the statement would be insulting to the fans
