FOX announced today that Glee has been renewed for two additional seasons - its fifth and sixth. The musical comedy, currently nearing the end of season 4, has continued to fare well for the network.
Glee will hit the 100-episode milestone midway through next season, and today's pickup will see it on the air through at least 2015.

Thank god Ryan Murphy is putting this **** out of its misery next year. That way he can work on American horror story an actual good show. Also they know its bad because look at the ratings.

listen I used to like it , but I stopped being interested mid second season. Now I just watch with my "gleek" friends and family cause it's tradition and I can always find someone to make fun of it with. I mean come on it's basically a after noon special , with repitive dance moves , loud songs and annoying charaters. R.I.P corey. but glee you seriously need to R.I.P

You know now that Corey Moniteith died I feel bad. I mean I still don't like glee and there are things that make it just way to stupid, but the death of a cast member no matter what he or she played is still tragic. The show will be double screwed now because one of the stars died and the ratings are going down faster then Speedy Gonzales on a sled. But if this is gonna make me watch glee fat chance but rip Corey for you we're human and a person just like us.

Look Danny, this is hollywood saying oh this is new and edgy, well no its a musical and its getting repetitive. My mom loved it when it first started but lately she never ever watchs it. Ill admit I know there trying but make it for 1 season like everyone else. The only people that like it in my steryotypical opinion are gay people who are to afraid to come out of the closet. This shit could go on Disney Channel. Its very akward and all around trying to be cool when really its pretty stupid. But with that said if it keeps the actors a steady paycheck then thats great, and respect everyones opinions no matter how harsh i seem. But im not gonna watch it and i predict people will get my point of view.

I still watch the show...but it lingers on the dvr until there is nothing left to watch. They are pushing WAY too hard on the social issues, and it ends up being annoying. They are one beach house or Hawaiian trip away from a charactature of every other too long running show...of course, if they went to Hawaii. there would be 5 hula dancer, and two of them would discover they were gay. Meanwhile, the evil landlord of the beach house would be really mean until those crazy singing kids discovered he was hiding a secret...that he liked to dress as a woman!!! Edgy, right?

Well unlike the rest of these comments I am excited for another two seasons of Glee. I personally (this is my opinion if you disagree with it fine) think that the show has just gotten better. Season 4 is supposed to be different from the others it was going to happen. Does every character have depth? No. In the next two years? Probably. I think Marley, Kitty, Wade "Unique", Ryder, and Jake will be the focus while still keeping the favorites around. Glee still gets more ratings than many shows. Makes sense why FOX kept it. But this is just my opinion

This is dumb plain and simple. I can admit there are a few talented people but the rest is crap. I dont want it renewed for 2 seasons there getting dumber and dumber. Im not watching i encourage everyone to do the same.

I'm amazed on the ability to have at least 4 songs an episode. My family likes the show. I also applaud the fact that some issues are shown are really happening in real life.
