The Syfy drama will end with six final episodes.
May 17, 2013
Syfy has renewed Warehouse 13 for a shortened fifth season to conclude the series. Six episodes have been ordered to finish off the storyline, and are expected to air in 2014.
"Warehouse 13 has been an incredible signature series for us, " said Mark Stern, Syfy's president of original content. "We are grateful to the loyal and passionate fan base and know that Jack Kenny, his gifted creative team, and outstanding ensemble cast will give them an amazing finale season."
The show currently has seven episodes remaining in its fourth season.

It's really funny how some post as if the television networks are actually reading this. This is just some site folks, run by some guy who may or may not have an actual connection to any television entity. You wouldn't walk into your local Mailboxes, Etc. and expect the Post Master General to hear you when you speak about the services.

It's not a pure drama. The "buffoonery" as you call it is simply for comic relief. It's an overt part of the character. I don't think the US has the patent on silliness, either...

At best this show is mediocre and not one of the "best". Many of the plots are just silly and the main lead actor acts like a buffoon. Why do the writers in US shows always seem to want to add "stupid sillyness" as their idea of humour and "fun". Want sillyness and buffoonery....watch the Three Stooges. A Science Fiction drama show shouldn't have a buffoon investigator. Good riddance!

I agree with everyone else, SYFY is killing off all the great shows like Eureka, Alphas, Sanctuary, Warehouse 13 and keeping Ghost-hunters, ghost-hunters international etc... These reality shows are horrible. It's the same thing over and over. People standing in the dark asking for a sign. Then they freak out when they hear a noise. WHO CARES!!! We want fictional tv so we can get away from the reality for a little while everyday! I want Warehouse 13, sanctuary, Alphas, Eureka etc.... Much better story lines!!! PLease get rid of reality tv!!

The network mucky mucks smoking crack have done what they always do. As all the comments agree with the fact that so many good shows have been canceled and they have tried to get us to watch their crappy movies as a replacement for them shows me that all networks are not listening to us. Tv has dropped to a sad state leaving us with reality shows cooking shows and many other worthless shows. Could it be because it is cheaper to make???? The fat lady is singing the party is over. How sad it is. MKL

Not surprised it got cancelled. I think it had lost its way last season and I quit watching it after the first episode this season.

Syfy is really killing off its fan base. Eureka, Warehouse 13, Sanctuary, Alphas. REALLY good shows, killed off because why? crappy reality tv? Make less crappy tv movies and keep the good shows. Continuum and Defiance are the only things keeping you afloat. Stop sabotaging yourself.
