TNT has ordered 10 new episodes for 2014.

TNT announced today that Falling Skies has been renewed for a fourth season. The summer drama has continued to draw solid ratings since its premiere in 2011, currently averaging 5.8 million viewers in Live + 7 delivery and ranking as basic cable's #1 scripted series among adults 18-49.
The network has ordered 10 episodes for the show's fourth season to air in the summer of 2014.
UPDATE: Season 4 of Falling Skies premieres on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at 10:00pm.

Totally agree with Tyler, both shows indeed feel more like drama these days then Sci-Fi which is really to bad :(

No surprise. The only "alien" show ever to be on TV which doesn't merely contain humans with make-up on as aliens or furry puppets. (I realize they are all humans, but this show actually has non-humanoid aliens unlike other show.)

I loved the first 2 seasons... but this season seems more Drama than Sci-Fi & I feel I might start getting away from that like The Walking Dead did this last season... which felt like a soap opera with zombies in the background.
