To my understanding, this show concluded.....why is it still showing as On Air as of March 23, 2016?

His show had promise but just went crazy. It has moved from an interesting premise in season 1 to totally unbelievable craziness now in season 5.

Like the show but getting tired of everyone having to sacrifice except Tom's family and Anne is getting ridiculous in her defense of Lexi.Hal is also getting to be a real ass.

hmmm.. Season 4 Episode 4 "Saturday Night Massacre" was the WEAKEST alien battle in the series history. Four seasons in ant it seems as though they've drastically cut the budget. Like all sci-fi shows they are making it FAR more about personal interaction than actual sci-fi. It's become a soap opera rather than action series. And they killed off Seychelle Gabrielle -- the bastards!

I - ditto with the first comment. The show had great promise in the beginning. The writing went totally off the rails, with no answers to the most basic of questions. The show seemed to be more about Patriotism, than an alien invasion.

Falling Skies.....it had promise, but when they introduced the Nazi kids into this season's storyline, I knew that the writers were running out of ideas. Bad writing has torpedoed the show. Not to mention, waiting a whole year between seasons. Yeah...it's time for it to end!!

They lost me at human kind dominated by anthropoids - how frigging in plausible. Lets face it, fighting against an order of Arachnids and ugly reptilian hermaphrodites with deep voices shows a great lack of imagination. Whoever pitch this show pitched it on their knees with their mouth full. Noah Wyle and his sons in a different universe maybe another genre -watchable. I think it should have been a musical: Dancing spiders, singing hermaphrodites, shoot'em up dance offs between eight legged space monsters n 2 legged humans -totally watchable to me.

Put Falling Skies over on the scrap pile with Revolution. Both began with a tolerably solid sci-fi core concept - but then [seemingly] meandered aimlessly from it.
Mystery dramas & Who-dun-its are great playgrounds for torturing and twisting plots, which can then be extended or undone by the next episode. Post Apocalypse stories however ought to stay focused on the survival and struggle. Introducing far too many twists, and bringing in too much supernatural hocus pocus confuses the basic survival premise.
Word of warning: PERSON OF INTEREST... You could be next.
