The summer cop drama will return in 2014.

ABC and Canada's Global Television have renewed drama Rookie Blue for a fifth season. The police series has continued to be a solid summer performer since its June 2010 premiere.
Production on the new season is expected to begin in early 2014. No premiere date has been announced, but expect a return in either May or June.
UPDATE: Rookie Blue returns for Season 5 on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 10:00pm.

I've enjoyed watching this show since the first episode. I'm always on pins and needles when it's time to renew or cancel. This is really good news, now if the powers that be, renews "MOTIVE". That would be awesome.

Happy happy happy the show is already renewed form next year. The mucky mucks that run this network made a great decision. I give credit when credit is due. Hope the mucky mucks have given up crack for good and keep making great decisions. MKL

Sweet I like this series the cases are pretty interesting at times. The drama is pretty good overall if you like crime and drama series this one is great. Little comedy here and there but not a lot.
