A&E will not be bringing back the cop drama.
August 30, 2013
A&E has cancelled The Glades after four seasons. The drama aired its now-series finale earlier this week, where it drew a season-high viewership of 3.4 million people.
The Glades ran for a total of 49 episodes since its premiere in the summer of 2010. It will be remembered as A&E's first original series that was picked up for more than one season.

Noooooooooooo:( they can't cancel this show. Just watched the last episode of season 4. They could at least give this tvshow a properly ending, not with a cliffhanger like that. :'(
I know i just a "tvshow",but i really liked the glades and "jim". It's really sad when your favorite tvshow ends.

it was great while the love intrest was away, way far away then it was just like any other show. we needed Jim to be strong and a almost super hero not like the everyday guy on the street picking up milk and bread on his way home from a murder scene. Get rid of his mom and dad and Calli and give us JIM and CARLOS

Would have liked to see the loose ends tied up, but the show had really deteriorated from an entertaining detective/medical examiner police drama into a formulaic presentation of the "crime of the week". It had become a romance comedy, focusing mostly on the relationship between Jim and Callie. It was bad enough, having to listen to her nasal, whiny, mumble when she was a peripheral player; it was a real turn-off when Callie became a main character.

I like this show enough to have PAID money to watch season 4 and now it is cancelled with a cliff hanger.....I agree, there are so many other shows out there hanging on. I hope A&E realizes what they are losing and brings it back, but, I would not be dissapointed if another network or HULU or NETFLIX picked up the show.

I too have signed the petition on change.org. There is Also a petition there to get USA network to buy the show. Perhaps the writers ended on the cliffhanger in hopes this would happen; it wouldn't be the first time a show that has been cancelled is resurrected by another network.

This is ridiculous. The Glades is one of the best shows on TV. Are they making room for another lame reality show. If A&E doesn't bring this show back, I will never watch it again!!! How could they leave us hanging like this?!

I really like this show. I just don't get why you would cancel the most entertaining show on your network????

Are you crazy? This is a very entertaining show with engaging characters. On top of that...how dare you leave the viewers hanging! I am sure the stars wished they had the opportunity to end it in a way that their viewers deserved. Shame on you.

This is my favorite show next to Longmire. I believe that you should give this show another chance. Use the sponsorship of Dodge and the others you have to promote a great show. Unfortunately my schedule does not let me watch it on show night. So I catch it on a&e website. Your fans are loyal to you so for once be loyal to them. Give us a chance to enjoy something we like. I agree that we need 1 more season aand end the show on the right note

Why is it when you finally discover a show that is entertaining, you finally catch up on back episodes, then commit to every show of the new season...it gets cancelled! Absolutely love this show. The characters are in sync, story line starts to heat up, anyone can see the possibilities in more episodes and then you cancel? I am a die hard tv fan and I like what I like. When I find something like The Glades I'm hooked. Reality crap and "Can I dance, Can I sing" shows are out. Don't take a tried and true police drama which has great actors and story lines and give it the boot. Honestly A&E I expected better of you.
