At New York Comic-Con this weekend, MTV announced that Teen Wolf has been renewed for a fourth season. The network has ordered 12 new episodes of the supernatural drama for 2014.
The show is currently in the middle of its third season, with the second half of its episodes set to return on Monday, January 6, 2014.

very nice that there is new season coming but why not full season like season 3 like 22 ep that would be nice cheers for this very nice show :)

That is the average season size for cable shows. Network shows (NBC, CW, CBS, FOX, etc) get larger seasons due to a much bigger budget and viewership. Also most cable shows, particularly in MTV, Disney Channel etc, do not go past season 3 often, so this is great news.
