The werewolf drama will sign off with 20 final episodes.
July 21, 2016
MTV announced today that Teen Wolf will be coming to an end after its upcoming sixth season. Word came this afternoon from Executive Producer Jeff Davis at the show's annual panel at Comic-Con in San Diego.
The veteran werewolf drama, which is the network's longest-running scripted series, was previously renewed for its now-final season at last year's Comic-Con, where it was confirmed that 20 episodes have been ordered. In total, the series will end at the 100 episode mark.

I stopped watching this after the fifth episode of season 4. I discovered the show pretty late. It already was 3 seasons when I started watching it. I had binged watched the entire series right before the premiere of Season 3B. By the end of it, I was not all that existed for more. They killed off too many characters, ruined my ship (which was the reason I even started watching the show, but I stayed because of Dylan O'Brien who was fun to watch), and I don't even know what's it doing now. I'm surprised it's ending though. I figured MTV would have milked this cheesy show for all it had.

Ending after season 6? It should have ended after the first movie, but I'll take it.

I've not watched the last season yet. The last couple were like watching Harry Potter movies. Totally Disjointed and "what? what did i miss from the last episode?"

The first two seasons were amazing for a scripted series on MTV. Once the alpha pack was introduced it got really corny especially the twins. It lost me though once they started the ninja samurai fox demon stuff. Then to top it off they made every person on the show a supernatural creature. It watered down the story just like the CW series supernatural. Both main characters on it have been killed countless times and both gone to heck making it ridiculous.
So long TW but at least we have the shanarra chronicles to fill the void.

Season 1 at least ATTEMPTED to keep some of the humor and campiness of the films... then they abandoned that in favor of tween-drama.... much like I abandoned watching this. Congrats to those that want yet another season... I won't be watching.

Really liked this first couple years but the stories started to really get out there and they started losing some main characters.
