The new comedy is axed after three episodes.
October 18, 2013
NBC has cancelled freshman series Welcome to the Family after only three episodes. The half-hour comedy premiered earlier this month but failed to catch on with viewers in its 8:30pm Thursday time slot.
The show is NBC's first comedy of the 2013-2014 season to get the axe.

Thought something was wrong with my DVR when I didn't see any new recordings on this excellent series. This was the only new series I thought was funny. Come on lets cut some other CRAP from TV besides this one.

I'm disappointed to see this show go. I looked fwd to each ep and found them very funny. I am rather surprised because it had a good concept and excellent acting. It was refreshing during its very short-lived run.

Are you serious? god I hate major US networks, I thought this is the BEST new Show for 2013.. Meanwhile shows like Sean Saves the world and Hello Ladies are still on air. This was my new fav show and I had NBC even more then I already did... shame :( this is up there with outsourced!!!
