The FX drama will conclude next season.
January 14, 2014
FX confirmed today at the 2014 winter TCA press tour that Justified will end after its sixth season. The network's president of programming, John Landgraf, stated the reason as a joint decision between the show's executive producer, Graham Yost, and star Timothy Olyphant.
Season 5 of Justified premiered last Tuesday, meaning the show will likely conclude in 2015.

What I love about Justified is every season had its own story arc, with some carry over from season to season.
Season 1 - The Crowders
Season 2 - The Bennetts
Season 3 - Robert Quarles
Season 4 - Drew Thompson
Season 5 - The Crowes
Season 6 - ??? Finale
6 seasons is great! Any time a show gets to end on its own terms, means the fans won't be left wanting. Would you rather have it end like Battlestar, or like The Glades?

Maybe they decided to end it after Leonard's passing. I will miss the show. It's one of my favorites. Love Olyphant and all of the characters. It's been a great run.

Sometimes a good show needs to end before it becomes stale and void of any new ideas. If you want something to replace your Justified fix I suggest watching True Detective

Excuse me bub, but the final episode of Breaking Bad may have been the best finally of any show ever. Getting back to Justified at least they are giving us another season after this. Six seasons isn't bad. Another Tim Olyphant show, Deadwood, ended after only 3 seasons and that upset me way more than this one ending after 6.

I am very very disappointed.....this is one of the best shows on tv....the chemistry between raylin and boyd is electric......there are so many dull shows getting renewed how is this getting cancelled....

End strong. End well. End when everyone is still enjoying it. Don't end like Breaking Bad, with a whimper. Go out with a bang. Six seasons is a good run. Now they should end Sons of Anarchy strong too. Love the shoe, but it's getting long in the tooth and OBVIOUSLY hunting for story lines.

Basically, 6 season is the equivalent of 3 network show seasons. Have they lost ideas for future shows or what? This is terrible news!

I guess Timothy initiated this. Easy, without Raylan there is no Justified.
At least we get a 6th season ;)

Whaat Why? I don't get it if a show is doing well with great viewing figures why stop. I get that the actors like a change but come on Timothy the show doesn't take up all your time!
