ABC has cancelled the drama with an early end to its run.
January 22, 2014
ABC has cancelled Killer Women, announcing that the freshman drama will be pulled after its sixth episode. The show's first season was originally planned for eight episodes, but after two unimpressive airings the network has opted to replace it with Mind Games, another new midseason series.
Killer Women will air its series finale on February 18.

I like the show. I would like for it to stay. We already have enough of the mind game shows. This is quite different than any other show on TV today. Might need to be on the Cable / satellite sister station because of the content.

Great show. Seems ABC is going from the beautiful and handsome to the ugly and the uglier. Come on give Killer Women some time. Change the title to Molly: Lady Ranger and market it as an action, social interests, romantic western rather than a S. V. show. Walker: Texas Ranger was on for years and I think this is ever bit as good or if not better. If you can't keep it on then sell it to some network so we the viewers can continue to enjoy it.

Ridiculous. Had big hopes for this show, and my initial enthusiasm for it showing a different side of Texas and a unique story perspective faded as the writing failed the show. I'm all for women being empowered, but she is not only is the greatest detective on the planet, but she can rope steers, pull calves, mount a clandestine paramilitary invasion of Mexico, dazzle on the red carpet, play a fiddle like Johnny Gimble, and be a family confidant. So how does this badass woman fail to get some divorce papers signed? This issue, along with the ridiculous overly public love affair with an undercover DEA agent, really screwed the show up, but could be resolved in a couple of scenes if they would hire decent writers.
that being said, I can't figure out why ABC buys these hour long dramas when it rarely sticks with them. These people are complete idiots.

I've enjoyed the show but have to agree it had some issues. Just a couple things that actually hurt or held it back from being an all around, dang good show.
The hope-to-be Ex is a good twist, but the abusive part just took away from her strength of the character. And sorry, when you bring sex to the show in-bedroom angles, that's not the better way to get respect. Remember what happened at Miss Kitty's place, we knew and never saw, it worked.
And folks, our Texas Rangers have a bit more professional appeal these days, which may not make for good TV drama. As example, Walker was even to much kick-boxing, which maybe why the Texas Ranger Museum rejected having a display for him.
I'll miss the show, it had future if it could have let go of some bad side-lines it used. Maybe they will release the full 8 seasons on DVD at least.

Show was ok. Not great as other bloggers are saying. No ratings, no show. That's how it goes. Not a big loss.

This was a really good show - I can't believe they expect the audience to jump on board in two weeks when these shows start at the oddest times, change dates/times and then get cancelled!

I agree with Crista and Stephanie,,why get invested in a show that promises a certain run aired on a network that has the attention span of a May fly? This story line is at least somewhat off the mainstream and, thank you very much, not riddled with weapons of mass destruction. As for the ex-husband it presents a fine opportunity to inject some Chicago PD justice. Crossover anyone? Keep the show and let us viewers who buy the sponsors products have some more fun, Thanks,
