ABC has cancelled the drama with an early end to its run.
January 22, 2014
ABC has cancelled Killer Women, announcing that the freshman drama will be pulled after its sixth episode. The show's first season was originally planned for eight episodes, but after two unimpressive airings the network has opted to replace it with Mind Games, another new midseason series.
Killer Women will air its series finale on February 18.

I'm hoping the series KILLER WOMAN will complete the 8 weeks originally planned. It has improved with each show. Tuesday's show was the best one yet. I'm hoping that ABC will ask for more. The ending really left me
hanging. I can't wait until next Tuesday.

So sad, it's just now really getting good and they're already moving on. And they wonder why they cancel shows so easily...what's the point of watching new shows when we've come to expect the good ones to be cancelled so quickly. It's a double edged monster of a sword they've created themselves. I usually wait to see if the show's going to be quickly cancelled - because once again, when I do watch it from the first episode, they cancel it anyways. Let's see how long it takes them to hop from the replacement show to its replacement...and again will regret investing any time is a show we like from the first episode and they cancel it anyways...

This is the best show on TV right now. I don't think it should be cancelled. I think it needs a chance to run and get the word out to other people. Love love love it!

Why cancel such a great show? Even shows like S.H.I.E.L.D. Received bad reviews for the first few episodes and now it is a huge bit! The characters in this show have proven their success and how well they can handle a successful show (Battlestar Galactica - both her and her brother, and D.E,A Agent Dan - Buffy and USA's Necessary Roughness) I mean come on! How can you expect to grow and get better ratings if you are going to cancel a show so soon? Once people know it's cancelled, ratings will continue to be low since nobody wants to watch a series that they know is ending. I am getting where I don't even like watching ABC anymore. And as for Mind games, how many more shows does Christian Slater have to star in that gets axed before it even gets started. Check out your viewers and their opinions instead of your stupid statistics that are running your network into the ground!

Sorry this show is being cancelled. I liked it and the idea that a female was a Texas Ranger who could kick butt.

Not nearly as interesting as The Bridge. Silly pseudo Texas stuff.
Still....better than any "reality" show.

The pilot show was promising, She would have done Chuck Norris proud, until they introduced the battered wife story line. After that not so much. She is tough, stubborn and dedicated. I definitely feel she could kick her x's ass. That twist took away a lot of the credibility of her character. The last two episodes were pretty good though.

This is a well-made show with an interesting story. If given half a chance, I have no doubt it could succeed. If ABC doesn't want to give it a fair shot, at least let the producers take it to Netflix or Amazon. I's still watch!

Killer Women is a great show. It was exciting, humorous in its own way, and fun to watch. From what the previews have been for the new show that is replacing it, it looks like ABC has really messed up again. Do they have anyone that has a brain in the programing department?
