Production has shut down on the new comedy.
January 28, 2014
It is being reported that NBC has cancelled Sean Saves The World, stopping all production on the show today. The freshman comedy has struggled in the ratings since its premiere last October, failing to find an audience in its Thursday night time slot.
A total of 18 episodes were ordered by the network, 14 of which have already been shot. The show is currently twelve episodes into its run, and it is possible that the remaining two will be aired once the upcoming Olympics are over.

You had a real winner with Sean Saves the world. How could you cancel such a talented show. Maybe a different time slot would have helped the ratings. I will miss the show please reconsider and put it back on the air

14 episodes aired? wow I never thought NBC would have given this show such a big chance. I thought it would have been cancelled after 3 episodes.

I just love Sean Saves The World. why is it that networks never give shows a chance? They should try different time slots or days before giving up

Disappointed. Really enjoyed watching it, even though I never watched it live. But made sure to catch it on Friday on the On Demand service

Glad they gave it a chance. It was good of NBC to give it a chance. THE SHOW should have used the chance NBC gave it better. THEY squandered the chance that they were given by NBC. If they would have used the chance they were given better they may have been left on air.

I am glad they cancelled this but can all stop acting like they didn't give it a chance. They don't randomly draw ideas out of a hat. They test them. They watch the rating. They know what they are doing. Back in the Game, Welcome to the Family, Sean Saves the World, We are Men, and Camp all had more than 2 episodes to air. Sure it may take a while for a show to find an audience , but how long should they wait to find out it doesn't have one? a season? 2 seasons? a decade? It had a chance nobody liked it, except you and your bad tastes.
And before you say ratings are flawed tell us how you would do it, or what specifically is flawed with them, seeing as how you know more than an entire industry.

Sean saves the world was a great comedy. Smart, sharp and witty. It is a true shame that it has been dropped.
